Building value through empathy in agricultural equipment
Years of working closely with SIP’s R&D team across more than 15 products contributed to a shared product vision that guides decisions across engineering, usability, form, graphics and interaction. The result is a more coherent portfolio, faster development, clearer product decisions and a more consistent experience of what SIP stands for.

At a glance
Opportunity
With an established brand and product direction already in place, SIP sought a long-term design partner to help develop and apply it across a growing product portfolio. The opportunity was to turn those principles into better product experiences while creating stronger continuity between individual machines.
Solution
A unified product lineup with a clear visual identity and distinct value positioning. Combined with a thoughtfully designed user experience, it empowers operators as masters of their machines, reinforces brand perception, and delivers measurable value in the field.
Impact
Products developed through the collaboration have been sold in the thousands across more than 20 countries. This collaboration helped strengthen usability, brand recognition and continuity across the portfolio.
“Integrating design and its user-centered, iterative approach into our development process enabled SIP to create a cohesive product line that stands out by embodying the core values of our brand.”

15+ products shaped a strong shared product vision
Working together across more than 15 products means making hundreds of decisions around the same brand, users and product principles. Over time, that creates a shared understanding of what SIP products should deliver, which principles matter, and how individual decisions support the wider product and brand strategy.
A vision built around robust and honest products, simple and intuitive handling, and powerful, reliable performance becomes a practical filter for development. It helps teams evaluate concepts faster, align design and engineering decisions, and keep new products focused on the value and experience SIP wants to create.

A product portfolio is more than a collection of products
SIP’s focus on grassland harvesting means its machines are often used as parts of the same working process. That creates an opportunity to design the portfolio as a connected system rather than a series of isolated products.
We carry shared principles across the lineup, not only through visual language, but through interaction, usability and product behavior. Familiar controls, logic and feedback help users transfer what they already know from one machine to another, while shared product qualities create a more predictable and coherent experience across the portfolio.
For customers, that means greater confidence and convenience when moving between SIP products. For SIP, it strengthens trust in the brand and helps the portfolio work as a complete solution rather than as isolated machines.

Making the brand promise tangible at every level
The shared vision is applied not only across the portfolio, but across every layer of the product experience. Robustness and reliability are one example. For SIP, these qualities have to mean more than a strong steel structure.
They are expressed through durable construction, visually robust form, clear and dependable interfaces, predictable interactions, and products that are easy to maintain and repair. Each touchpoint reinforces the same message.
Design helps make sure those decisions reinforce one another, making the brand promise something users can actually see, feel and rely on. The result is a portfolio where each product reinforces that promise, and every new machine strengthens the experience of the brand as a whole.
